So you must know September 6th was the fourth annual Fashion's Night Out, a global initiative sponsored by Vogue and the CFDA, initially started as a means to encourage consumers to shop and support the fashion industry during the tough economic times of 2009. The event also supports various charities by giving a percentage of sales. I spent this years FNO with my sister and Fashion Blogger Gloss&Style. She was invited to an event at Santa Maria Novella at The Bal Harbour Shops, and took me along. It was a fab event of cute treats, champagne, nice people, especially the store manager Arlay, and shopping benefitting the Ronald McDonald House Charities. We later strolled over to Neiman Marcus where they had a fashion show and later Saks. There was a huge turnout and I encourage everyone who enjoys fashion and any aspect of it to support it in its upcoming years. Here's to a start of a fab week.
